Sparkart's been innovating and improving user interaction on the web for years and we're looking for you to join us and further humanize user experiences within the Sparkart ecosystem. You'll speak to clients, conduct user research, study mannerisms and apply findings to your designs. You'll design wireframes and user flows, wow clients with high quality design, and develop them into exciting web experiences. Along the way, you'll have the support of some of the smartest (and coolest) designers, engineers and account personnel to bring your ideas to fruition.
What We're Looking For
Front-End Development: you take one part photoshop comp, two parts wireframes, a dash of whiteboard sketches, and using your HTML/CSS/JS expertise, cook up delicious websites. Your eye for great design and typography helps fellow designers and you develop creative solutions for clients. Keeping abreast of current and evolving web standards and frameworks (jQuery/Less) is a big plus
Knowledge: a couple of years experience developing on content management systems and platforms such as Drupal, Wordpress, ExpressionEngine, etc. Experience developing on mobile platforms is welcomed with open arms.
Communication: the kind that comfortably converses abstract thoughts, clear ideas and constructive feedback with team members and clients
Leadership: managing projects, teams, working well under pressure with deadlines set to yesterday
Passion: You're an internet hero, building helpful browser extensions or other cool experiments and penning down thoughts on new trends and technologies
Pluses: Experience with version control (Git) will have us batting eyelashes. Ruby on Rails experience will just make us..well, we'd rather not say right now...
